Four gamblers held in Srinagar; stake money, playing cards, cellphones seized

Srinagar — Acting on reliable information regarding the gambling activities, a Police party of PS Bemina raided the specific location and arrested four gamblers. They have been identified as Mohd Sultan Hanji son of Ab Rehman resident of Shah Colony Fruit Mandi, Altaf Ahmed Guroo son of Ab Hameed, Fayaz Ahmad Dandroo son of Gh Mohd and Irshad Ahmad Khanday son of Gh Mohd Khanday, all residents of Mansoor Colony Bemina.

Stake money of ₹7,190/-, playing cards and 03 mobile phones have been recovered from their possession. Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Bemina and investigation has been initiated.
