In continuation of the efforts to eradicate the drug menace from the society, Ganderbal Police arrested one more drug Peddler in the jurisdiction of PP Gutlibagh and Seized Contraband Substance from his possession.
Police Party of Police Post Gutlibagh laid Naka at Wayil Wudder for a routine checking. During naka checking one person, upon seeing naka party tried to flee from the spot and was tactifully apprehended by the swift action of naka party and during his personal search, Contraband Substance (heroin) was recovered and seized. The accused disclosed his identity as Nazir Ahmad Raina S/O Mohammad Ramzan Raina R/O Gagangeer Sonamarg.
Accordingly, Case FIR No. 77/2025, under relevant Sections of NDPS Act stands registered at PS Ganderbal and further investigation has been taken up.
