SRINAGAR: Srinagar based Army’s 15 Chinar Corps General Officer Commanding (GOC) Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai called on Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police R.R. Swain at Police Headquarters here on Friday.
The DGP is attaining the superannuation on September 30 and the new DGP Nalin Prabhat is to take charge on October 1.
Both Lt Ghai and DGP Swain during the meeting had a powwow to ensure that the tempo of the coordinated hard work in maintaining peace and order in the valley is not diminished.
General Ghai on the occasion bid farewell to Swain and both took a quick review of the situation as well as the measures being taken during the ongoing Assembly election.
