As per the order, Mr. Dawanjeet Singh, who was serving as Additional Private Secretary with the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, has been transferred and posted as Administrative Officer at the J&K Power Development Corporation Limited. In another significant transfer, Mr. Rajinder Kumar, who was serving as Under Secretary to the Government in the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Additional Private Secretary with the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister. This move is likely to bring a fresh perspective to the office of the Deputy Chief Minister, and Mr. Kumar is expected to play a key role in supporting the Deputy Chief Minister in his official duties.
The order has been copied to various senior officials, including All Financial Commissioners (Additional Chief Secretaries), Additional Chief Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Director General of Police, J&K, All Principal Secretaries to Government, and Principal Secretary to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor. This suggests that the transfers are part of a broader administrative reshuffle aimed at optimizing the functioning of the government.
