In compliance with the directive from the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (Order No.: DSEK/CEW/25/1341-50, Dated 02/05/2025), a solemn and inspiring tribute was paid to Dr. Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan at Govt. Girls Middle School Boniyar.
The morning assembly was marked by the reading of two insightful write ups highlighting Dr. Kasturirangan’s early life, scientific achievements and monumental contributions to India’s educational reforms, especially as the chief architect of the National Education Policy 2020.
Mr. Mukhtar Ahmad Qureshi, teacher took the lead in delivering these tributes, which captivated the students and staff alike. The readings presented a comprehensive portrait of Dr. Kasturirangan from his academic excellence and groundbreaking leadership at ISRO to his visionary role in shaping NEP 2020, a policy aimed at transforming India into a global knowledge hub.
