Handwara Police Organizes Thana Diwas/Lok Darbar to Discuss New Criminal Laws across police district

Today, the Handwara Police conducted Thana Diwas/Lok Darbar across all police establishments in the district as part of its ongoing public outreach initiative. The program aimed to raise awareness and facilitate discussions on the new criminal laws, with a special focus on victim-centric and citizen-centric provisions.

The event witnessed active participation from community members, religious leaders, local representatives, and senior citizens, included Masjid Imams, Nambardars, respected elders, and other prominent citizens.

Handwara Police reaffirmed its commitment to *public safety, victim support, and citizen-friendly policing, urging continued cooperation from the community in maintaining peace and justice.
