Home Dept J&K likely to hold high level meeting for promotion of JKPS officers as DIGs, SSPs ; 2 likely as IGPs later

Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir likely to promote JKPS Officers as DIGs , SSPs in J&K Police as Home Department Jammu and Kashmir likely to hold high level meeting next week.

Sources told  that six JKPS officers with 18 years of Service likely to be poromoted as DIGs without induction into IPS as per new Police Recruitment rules.

Similarly more Officers are likely to be promoted as SSPs.

Sourecs further added that out of six Officers to be promoted as DIGs, two JKPS Officers with 22 years of Service with top seniority likely be inducted as IGPs at later stage.Cross Town
