ICC announces broadcast details for ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the details of its broadcast arrangements for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, which runs from February 19 – March 9.

Each match will be a blockbuster as eight teams gear up to participate in the ninth edition of the Champions Trophy which will be held in Pakistan and UAE across 19 days.

Comprehensive coverage of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy is available globally through the ICC’s Broadcast and Audio partners.

The action kicks off on 19 February when defending champions Pakistan take on New Zealand, with the final all set to be played on 9 March, where the victors will claim the iconic white jacket.

The ICC, through its direct broadcast partnerships with world-class broadcasters, will bring the thrilling 15-match competition to fans across the globe.

Fans in more than 80 territories can watch via ICC.tv and free audio of all 15 matches is available via the ICC match centre globally. The fans can also check the live ball-by-ball commentary on icc-cricket.com.

The ICC will also live radio broadcast all matches free globally via the match centre on the ICC website and app.

In India, the JioStar network will broadcast the Men’s Champions Trophy, offering fans an exciting, never-seen-before presentation of an ICC event.

For the first time on the digital platform, an ICC tournament will be streamed live across 16 feeds, including nine different languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Haryanvi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

The live streaming on JioHotstar will be complemented by four multi-cam feeds.

On Television, in addition to the English feed, the network will provide coverage in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, across Star Sports and Sports18 channels.

Ensuring an inclusive experience for all audiences, two of the most popular innovations enhancing ICC cricket coverage on digital return for the Men’s Champions Trophy 2025: the Indian Sign Language feed and Audio Descriptive Commentary.

This ground-breaking initiative by the JioStar network won a National Award in 2024 in the Category of Institutions Engaged in Empowering Persons with Disabilities 2024.

The hugely successful vertical feed (MaxView), produced in collaboration with the ICC, will also be available in Hindi and English, providing fans with an easier and more intuitive mobile viewing experience, allowing them to consume content on the go.

In the host country Pakistan, hosting their first ICC tournament since 1996, fans will be able to catch the live action on via linear partners PTV and Ten Sports, and digitally through the Myco and Tamasha apps. Co-hosts UAE and the entire MENA region will have the games broadcasted via CricLife MAX and CricLife MAX2, with streaming available on STARZPLAY.

UK cricket fans can root for their favourite side while enjoying the action on Sky Sports Cricket, Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Action and digitally via the SkyGO, NOW, and Sky Sports App.

In North America, USA and Canada will have the access to Champions Trophy via WillowTV and the 15 matches will also be available via the Willow by Cricbuzz app with Hindi coverage also available. Moving south, fans in the Caribbean can watch all the action live via ESPN Caribbean on TV and also stream through the ESPN Play Caribbean app.

Amazon is the home of ICC Cricket in Australia, with coverage of the returning Men’s Champions Trophy available on Prime Video. The games would also be available with Hindi commentary on Amazon, which is the first such occasion in Australia.

For New Zealand cricket enthusiasts, Sky Sport NZ will be the home for the Champions Trophy, with coverage also available via the Now and SkyGo app. Fans in South Africa and the 52 sub-Saharan Africa territories, can catch the action on SuperSport and its app.

Bangladesh fans can catch the action on Nagorik TV and T Sports, who will be the linear TV broadcasters in Bangladesh, with Toffee app making the games available via streaming too.

Tournament debutants Afghanistan will have the games available on linear via ATN. Maharaja TV in Sri Lanka continue their coverage of ICC’s events through TV1 on linear and Sirasa via digital.

Fans in cricket-loving markets such as Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will also be able to watch all 15 Men’s Champions Trophy matches via ICC.tv.

In more than 80 territories, all matches from the tournament will be live and free on ICC.tv, including in Nepal, Japan, and Malaysia.

This will enable more fans in these markets to enjoy the sport whilst building ICC.tv as a cricket destination.

Champions Trophy on Radio
In the United Kingdom, BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra will provide audio coverage on all 15 ICC Men’s Champions Trophy matches.

In India, audio coverage will be available on All India Radio. In the host country, Pakistan HUM 106.2FM will be the destination for fans.

Talk 100.3FM and Big 106.2 will be the home of the Men’s Champions Trophy in the UAE, whilst fans in Bangladesh can listen via Radio Shadhin 92.4 and Radio Bhumi 92.8, with Lakhanda Radio providing coverage in Sri Lanka.
