In India, the sun has already set, and today, Saturday, March 29, corresponds to the 28th of Ramadan. Since the crescent moon is expected to be sighted on Sunday, the Islamic month of Shawwal will begin on Monday, signaling the start of Eid celebrations.

Similarly, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Australia are also set to observe Eid Al-Fitr on Monday. These countries follow moon sighting reports based on scientific calculations and local observations, and the predicted visibility of the crescent moon aligns with their official lunar calendars.

Eid Al-Fitr is one of the most significant Islamic festivals, celebrated with prayers, feasting, and charitable giving. It marks the conclusion of Ramadan, a month of fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection.
