The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered a formal inquiry into alleged violations of DPR and PMGSY guidelines in the construction of four rural roads in Poonch district.

The roads under scrutiny are Bonikhet to Chanasar, Chandimarth to Dogrian, Saffian to Mahara, and Km 7th of TOI to Behramgalla.

Amarnath Yatra crosses 1.11 lakh mark in 6 days

Following a departmental complaint and unsatisfactory replies from eight engineers, including former Executive Engineers and Junior Engineers, the Government has appointed Er Kewal Kumar Attri as the Inquiry Officer to investigate the charges.

Er Shakeel Ahmed will serve as the Presenting Officer. The inquiry report is to be submitted within 30 days.
