Sale of Apple’s iPhone 15 series is estimated to have registered a 100 per cent growth compared to that of the iPhone 14 series on the first day on Friday, with high demand for made-in-India models, according to industry sources.
Apple has launched four models in iPhone 15 series. Two variants — iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus — are also being made in India.
The company has for the first time made available the ‘made-in-India’ iPhones on the same day it started selling the devices in other parts of the globe.
