Indian Reserve Police 21 Bn Organises huge tiranga rally to pay tribute to the bravehearts who laid down their lives for the country. The event was headed by Commandant Shri Shabir Ahmad Malik who motivated students of nearby schools to think high and try to become officials to lead the country. The event was started by pledge Ceremony which motivated the students to become loyal for the country.

The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi recently announced the campaign during his Mann Ki Baat broadcast on Akashvani. As part of the campaign, Shilaphalakam or memorial plaques saluting the spirit of sacrifice of local bravehearts from the village, panchayat, block, town, city, municipality  are to be erected across urban and rural areas.

The rally was followed by Plantation drive, which in calculated the fellings of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ among the citizens.

All the jawans, officers, Civil Society, students participate and intended to participate in future programmes. In the end of the rally the students were given refreshment and the event concluded with the note of thanks to the participants.
