Srinagar: As the political landscape witnesses a boil with announcement of Assembly election schedule and subsequent revelation of mandates by different regional parties, the Bharatiya Janata Party in the meantime is likely to follow the suit, fielding Adv Sajid Yousaf Shah from coveted Lolab assembly constituency.
Sajid, a Law graduate from University of Kashmir, is currently holding the position as BJP’s Media Cell in Jammu and Kashmir. The young politician is known for his oratory skills and has also authored a book.
Sajid, 29, is also President of All JK Youth Society.
The decision, if materialized, would bring Sajid in direct contest with various National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party, Peoples Conference and a fair number of independent candidates.
