The Jammu and Kashmir Government has instructed all its employees to participate in the Republic Day function and the Beating Retreat Ceremony as part of their official duties.

The main Republic Day event for 2025 will take place at Maulana Azad Stadium in Jammu, with the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor presiding over the ceremony and taking the salute. Government officials and employees from Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) stationed in Jammu have been directed to attend the event.

In an official directive, the administration emphasized that all Heads of Departments (HoDs) and Chief Executives of PSUs must ensure their presence at the event along with their subordinate staff.

In addition, a separate circular announced that the Beating Retreat Ceremony, marking the conclusion of Republic Day celebrations, will be held on January 29, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. at Maulana Azad Stadium.

The directive applies to all government employees stationed in Jammu, with HoDs and PSU chiefs instructed to ensure their attendance along with their staff. [KNT]
