J&K polls: BJP’s Rajiv Jasrotia receives warm welcome in Kathua following his candidature

KATHUA: Rajiv Jasrotia, former minister and BJP candidate for the Jasrota assembly constituency from the Kathua district, was given a warm welcome on the National Highway in Kathua on the August 27 evening upon his return from New Delhi.

Jasrotia’s name was announced in the third list of candidates on August 27 released by the BJP for the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

The BJP workers and supporters danced, burst firecrackers, and raised slogans in favour of the BJP and their senior leaders. They took out a rally at Dr Shyama Parshad Mukherjee Chowk and sought his blessings after offering flowers to his statue.(Agencies)
