J&K Swimming Association organises Swimming championship competition at Srinagar in the memory of former General Secretary Late V.K. Sawhney

Jammu and Kashmir Swimming Association organises Swimming championship competition at on the Banks of the Famous Dal Lake Near Foreshore Road Srinagar in the memory of former General Secretary Late V.K. Sawhney were More than 150 swimming expert player’s participated .

The championship was inaugurated by the Rajni Kumari Sawhney The General Secretary of the swimming Association in the presence of Mr Ajay Sahani Brother of former General Secretary Late V .K Sawhney (Patil Sir), SHO Police station Harwan, Mr Mudasir Ahmad,Social Activist and the Vice President of Jammu and Kashmir Swimming Association,Jassm Muzaffar, Mr Saif Ali and the Young swimming player Mr Zaid Ul Hassan and also various social Activists and senior citizens were also present in the occassion.

Address the participants and the spectators SHO Police station Harwan Mr Mudasir Ahmad appreciated the players participating in the competition and stresses them to spare some time for sports activities as well as in addition to their studies which keeps them fit in all aspects, He also appeals them to desit from drugs and other Bad things which are killing our society day by day and our future generations.

He also said if the menace of drugs is not controlled at this stage it can destroy our future generations and also requested the parents to keep eye on their children’s.

while announcing the prizes in Boys wing,” Javaid Ahmad, sahil Shafi and Iniyat Nabi” got first , second and third position in under 17 age and Junaid Shafi, Sahil Abass Kanoo, zahid Hussain secured First, 2nd and third position Under 14 age , and in under 12 age Waseem Abass got first , Sadiq Ali got second and Ibrahim Imtiyaz got third position in the competition.

Meanwhile in girls Nabeela Khan Ranks Ist ,Muntha 2nd and Zulikha anjum gets third Rank.

The organizers of this event said that we are continue organising these events in future also and requested the parents for participation their wards in these competitions are we are organising these competitions in each and every districts and we are in process of selecting the best swimming player for the National lavel event and the competitions all over India.

Meanwhile Vice president of the Jammu and Kashmir Swimming Association Jassm Muzaffar and the organiser of this Event Mr Zaid Ul Hassan thanked all the guests and participants for making this event sucessfull.
