Jammu and Kashmir National Conference contesting candidate on Lolab assembly segment, Qaiser Jamsheed Lone, on Monday tendered his nomination papers on Lolab constituency.
Accompanied to the Returning Officer (04-Lolab) office at Sogam by JKNC’s Provincial President Kashmir Nasir Aslam Wani, DDC Members and party colleagues Nasir Nazir Lone and senior worker Ashraf Nissar the occasion also saw a huge participation by the party activists and well-wishers.
Lone, among the senior lot in the Dr. Farooq Abdullah headed party, has on his back a political legacy and has also been Member of the Legislative Council (MLC).
Lone became the first candidate to submit nomination papers on the prestigious segment.
With a few days left for the last day of submission of nominations, the activity is likely to pick up thick and fast in the days to follow.
