The UT Government has eliminated the requirement to create waiting lists for government service recruitment. The administration has revoked the regulations that obligated recruiting agencies to establish a waiting list for filling vacancies left by dropouts in each job examination. Today, the General Administration Department (GAD) issued three separate notifications to abolish the regulations that mandated recruiting agencies, such as the Public Service Commission and Services Selection Board, to create a waiting list in addition to a select list. In addition to the select list, recruiting agencies used to compile a waiting list. The purpose of this waiting list was to consider candidates for “drop out” vacancies.
