The Meteorological Department forecasts isolated very light rain and snow in the next 24 hours, with the subsequent two days—November 29 and 30—anticipated to bring widespread light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and snow across the region. A “yellow warning” has been issued for isolated thunderstorms and lightning during these two days.The color-coded warnings include green (no action required), yellow (situation to be monitored), orange (government agencies prepared for severe weather), and red (agencies to take immediate action).Between December 1st and 6th, the weather is expected to be partly to generally cloudy, according to a meteorological department official.In terms of temperature, Srinagar recorded a low of 3.9°C, slightly above the normal for this time of year.
