They promoted iconic Kashmiri products such as saffron, traditional shawls, walnuts, and honey, and prepared an authentic Kashmiri Wazwan feast for local staff, introducing them to the rich flavors of the Valley. This immersive session allowed participants from both regions to experience each other’s culinary heritage over a five-day period.
In addition to the culinary showcase, the Kashmiri youth captivated the audience with cultural performances, including traditional Kashmiri songs and dances. The Honorable Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Shri Nazir Ahmad interacted with the delegation, recognizing their efforts in promoting cultural unity. Local hosts reciprocated by preparing a range of Andhra specialties for the visiting youth, fostering a spirit of mutual appreciation and respect.
Choudhary Imtiyaz Kataria extended gratitude to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs, and the government of Andhra Pradesh for providing this unique platform. This program not only empowered youth to celebrate and share their heritage but also strengthened bonds across states, building a deeper understanding of India’s diverse cultural fabric.
