As the second day from traditional music and dance to delectable local cuisine and a myriad of handicrafts, the Lolab Mela offered a captivating glimpse into the heart of this enchanting valley. Malang Band and Sufi group of Yonus Lolabi charged the crowd to dance along and make the evening memorable.

Undoubtedly with this kind of energy in the valley of Lolab, the list of chief guests is long enough to put the milestone in the history of Land of Love and Beauty. Over 10,000 locals from Lolab as well as from Kupwara and beyond gathered to contribute to the Badalta Kashmir.

The mega event was graced by Dr. Rashmi Singh, IAS Administrative Secretary, Mining Department and Commissioner state Taxes Department J&K and Major General Girish Kalia, VSM, GOC 28 Division as the chief guest of the evening with senior dignitaries of civil administration and Indian Army.

Over a hundred students, teachers, civil organisers of various events and youth who participated in sports events were felicitated by the dignitaries to appreciate their efforts and make the Lolab Fest successful and to boost their morale to further progress towards positive direction.

22 October 2023 may be the last day of Lolab Fest-2023 but surely it is the beginning of Kashmir towards progressiveness, positivity and thriving. The success of Lolab Mela 2023 is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the organizers, the talent of the performers, and the enthusiasm of the attendees.
