Mega Enrollment Drive Held in Zone Boniyar at Govt Girls Middle School Boniyar

A Mega Enrollment Drive was successfully organized in Zone Boniyar at Government Girls Middle School Boniyar on Monday, 17th March 2025 (Monday). The event aimed at increasing enrollment in government schools and encouraging parents to take advantage of the facilities provided in these institutions.

The enrollment drive was formally inaugurated by Mr. Showkat Ahmad Sheerwani, Principal and Cluster Head HSS Boniyar, Mr. Mohammad Abass, Principal and Cluster Head HSS Pahlipora, and Mr. Abdul Rehman Lone, Zonal Education Officer Boniyar. Their presence and leadership added significance to the event and motivated the attendees.

During the drive, 24 students were successfully admitted to different government schools in Cluster Boniyar. Addressing the gathering, the Zonal Education Officer and the Cluster Heads emphasized the importance of government schools and urged parents to enroll their children in these institutions. They highlighted the various free services provided by government schools, such as free textbooks, free uniforms, free Mid Day Meals, and free access to ICT labs, which significantly aid in the holistic development of students. The officers further encouraged parents to utilize the qualified and well trained government teachers who are committed to providing quality education.

The event saw the participation of various Heads of Institutions, parents, and students, making it an engaging and informative session. Parents were given an opportunity to understand the advantages of enrolling their children in government schools, ensuring better educational opportunities and overall development.

Several officials were also present at the event, including Bilal Ahmad Chack Zonal Cultural Co Ordinator, Mukhtar Ahmad Qureshi Cluster Point Person, Cluster Boniyar, Nazir Ahmad Lone Cluster Point Person, Cluster Pahlipora, Altaf Ahmad Beigh Teacher, Ghulam Nabi Head Assistant, Gowhar Masoodi Junior Assistant, and Sumair Ahmad Junior Assistant. Their collective efforts ensured the smooth execution of the drive.

The Mega Enrollment Drive was a great success, reinforcing the Importance of government schools in shaping the future of children. It also marked a significant step towards strengthening public education in the Zone. The enthusiastic participation of parents, teachers, and officials demonstrated a collective commitment to enhancing literacy and education in Zone Boniyar.
