Anantnag/Kulgam, July 6, Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) proudly organized a series of commemorative events across Districts Anantnag and Kulgam to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee a visionary leader, great nationalist, and founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh.
In Anantnag, a vibrant celebration was held at Bijbehara, where youth participated in a plantation drive, essay competition, quiz , and seminar dedicated to Dr. Mukherjee’s life and contributions to the nation. The event was graced by Mr. Aijaz Ahmad, Principal of Oxford Presentation School, who served as the Chief Guest in this programme. In his address, he emphasized the relevance of Dr. Mukherjee’s ideals in shaping a strong and united India.
Meanwhile, in Kulgam, MY Bharat volunteers at Yaripora organized a quiz competition, seminar, and plantation drive as a tribute to the stalwart leader. The program was honored by the presence of Mr. Jahangeer Ahmad, a noted social activist, as Chief Guest, who enlightened the audience on Dr. Mukherjee’s enduring legacy and his unwavering commitment to national unity and selfless service.
These events served as a source of inspiration for the youth, encouraging them to embrace the spirit of patriotism, dedication, and public service as championed by Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee.
