Mir Junaid, President of Jammu and Kashmir Workers Party, held a meeting with the
Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir at Raj Bhawan to discuss and seek redressal of several critical
issues prevalent in Kupwara district. From the bustling city centers to the peaceful rural communities, the
Jammu and Kashmir Workers Party in a statement said that the party is committed to bringing positive
change and propelling progress across the region.
“We are relentless in our pursuit of improving the quality of life for all those we serve. Our unwavering
dedication means expediting languishing projects and ensuring timely completion of essential
infrastructure such as roads, bridges, electricity, water, and healthcare facilities particularly in Langate
constituency.”
While commenting on the issues that needs to be focused the most In present times, the statement adds,
“Workers Party focuses on addressing employment and staff shortages and stamping out corruption, two
issues that have held our region back for far too long. Most importantly, we will tackle the issue of water
scarcity head-on, ensuring every citizen has access to the vital resource they need to thrive. Above all, we
remain steadfast in our commitment to advocating for tangible solutions that uplift and enhance the
overall living standards of our constituents,” reads the statement issued here.
The issue surrounding the examination centers for CUET has been duly communicated to the LG of J&K UT
in order to swiftly address the concerns brought forth by the student community. “We trust that prompt
action will be taken to alleviate any uncertainties and ensure a seamless examination process.”
Recognizing the severe nature of malpractices by government officials/offices in Kupwara district, Mir
Junaid has called for a stringent crackdown on individuals involved in such unethical behavior. “For the
efficient functioning of public offices and to retain the faith of citizens, transparency and accountability
within the government system are crucial. Consequently, it is imperative to take swift action against those
responsible for any misconduct in public service” said Mir.
The Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha ensured quick results and redressal of the genuine issues that were
raised during the meeting. With a firm commitment to addressing the raised issues, the Lieutenant
Governor has assured prompt and adequate resolution to the meeting’s concerns.
“My meeting with the Lieutenant Governor reflects Workers Party’s unwavering commitment to
addressing the pressing needs and concerns of the people in Kupwara district. By advocating for the
completion of languishing projects, addressing staff shortages in various government run departments,
combating malpractices, and tackling water scarcity, we aim to uplift the overall living standards and foster
development in the region.” Said Mir Junaid, President Jammu and Kashmir Workers Party.
