A significant event under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was organized today with great fervor and dedication, focusing on spreading awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and promoting a drug-free society. The programme Witnessed the esteemed presence of several dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Miss Nusrat Ali Hakkak, Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and Sub-Court Judge and approx 350 Students/Teachers/Youths from Govt Degree College Ganderbal, nearby Schools and and cadets of 1 J&K Bn Girl Srinagar NCC Govt. Degree College, Ganderbal. The event was supported by Drug Deaddiction committee, GDC Ganderbal.
The event also welcomed distinguished Special Guests:
Sh. Surjeet Kumar Sharma, Chief Education Officer, Ganderbal, who highlighted the importance of education in curbing drug abuse.
Dr. Andleep Bashir, Block Medical Officer, who emphasized the medical and psychological impacts of substance abuse.

Dr. Tauseef Ahmad A prominent social and environmental activist.
Prof. Ulfat, Convener of the Drug De-addiction Agency, who shared insights into ongoing de-addiction programs.
Mr. Tanveer Ashraf*, Assistant Legal Aid, who discussed the role of legal aid in supporting rehabilitation.
Mr. Syed Aijaj Kashani*, a dedicated social activist, who shared his on-ground experiences of working in drug-prone areas.
The program was presided over by Prof. Fozia Fatima, Principal, who expressed her commitment to continuing the fight against substance abuse within the educational community. The event also featured the presence of Commandant 13 Bn SSB, Sh. Mukesh Singh Yadav*, who underlined the role of security forces in supporting anti-drug initiatives.
Advocate Syed Junaid Sadaat, Chairman of White Globe NGO, addressed the press to announce a significant seminar dedicated to curbing drug abuse in society. The event, organized by 13 Bn Sashastra Seema Bal, Dignibal in collaboration with White Globe NGO, will bring together experts, educators, law enforcement agencies, and community leaders to discuss and strategize on combating the increasing menace of drug abuse.
Adv. Sadaat emphasized the urgent need for collective action to protect the youth and safeguard the future of our communities. He urged all stakeholders to participate actively in the seminar and contribute to developing effective solutions to this grave issue.
The seminar aims to raise awareness, educate the public, and foster collaboration among various sectors to create a drug-free society.
Throughout the session, Skit & Cultural Song(Group Song) by the members of Rishi Culture form performed by various strategies were discussed to further strengthen the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, including legal measures, educational campaigns, and community-based interventions. The event was marked by active participation from students, educators, healthcare professionals, and the general public, all united in their resolve to build a drug-free society.
The program concluded with a pledge by all attendees to work collaboratively in eradicating drug abuse from society, ensuring a healthier and brighter future for the coming generations.
