On the directions of District Administration the fifth phase comprehensive IEC (Information, Education, and Communication) campaign was conducted across 13 educational institutions in different zones of the district. The initiative aims to sensitize students about the harmful consequences of drug use and empower them to make , healthy lifestyle choices.
As part of this campaign, expert resource persons from various fields including health, education, law enforcement,RDD,Social Welfare and social workers visited schools and delivered impactful lectures to the students. These sessions covered a wide range of topics such as the physical, psychological, and social impacts of drug abuse, the importance of mental well-being, peer pressure management, and legal ramifications of drug-related offenses.
The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and school administrators.
