‘Israeli’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, according to Channel 12. Netanyahu’s office confirmed that he would undergo prostate surgery on Sunday.
Last Wednesday, Netanyahu underwent tests at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, where doctors discovered a urinary tract infection caused by benign prostate enlargement. He has been on antibiotics since the diagnosis, which successfully treated the infection.
Netanyahu’s office confirmed that the Cabinet meeting scheduled for Sunday will proceed as planned.
