The government on Thursday said there was no proposal under consideration for the construction of a footbridge from Dharbagh-Shivpora to Kursoo Rajbagh in the Lal Chowk constituency.
In response to a query raised by MLA Ahsan Pardesi in the Assembly, the Public Works (R&B) Department clarified that multiple bridges and footbridges already exist in the vicinity of the proposed location, making additional construction unnecessary.
Deputy Director Planning, PW R&B Department, in a written reply, stated that due to the availability of existing infrastructure, the department is not planning any new footbridge in the area—(KNO)
