Meteorological Department Srinagar Saturday predicted brief spell of showers at scattered and isolated places, however it simultaneously added there will be no significant weather activity in J&K till September 23. Today there will be generally cloudy weather at many places with brief spell of showers/thunder at scattered places, a MeT official said. From September 15-20 there is possibility of generally dry weather with brief showers/light rain at isolated places. The outlook during subsequent three days predicts generally dry weather with brief spell of rain/thunder at isolated places. The official added that nothing significant weather activity is expected till September 23. While issuing advisory the official said there is a possibility of thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds at isolated places of J&K in the meanwhile.
