Pyar jab na diya zindagi ne kabhi, Phir sitamgar kon hua admi ya zindag?i
This is what every Kashmiri 35 year of chaos, confusion, turmoil and entanglement is saying! They were unfortunate but what had to happen that did! Pakistan ruined it all!
-A Kashmiri kid was singing these lyrics, ‘Hum Kitne Nadan Thhey Yaro, Aaj Ye Samjhe Aaj Ye Jana, Sach Hain Agar Toh Ek Mohabbat, Jooth Hain Baki Sara Fasana’!
After more than thirty five years things are returning back to as they were and it is all due to the fact that the Indian Army has done an awesome lot for the people!
-We believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
-William Shakespeare was not wrong when he said, ‘Love all, trust a few, Do wrong to none: be able for thine enemy, Rather in power than use; and keep thy friend, Under thy own life’s key: be check’d for silence, But never tax’d for speech.
‘I’m not upset that you lied to me, I’m upset that from now on I can’t believe you. This is what every Kashmiri is saying to Pakistan and are also saying, never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them. Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them! Rest is up to you to guess as to where Im wrong!
-He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much; Who has enjoyed the trust of pure women, the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children; Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; Who has never lacked appreciation of Earth’s beauty or failed to express it; Who has left the world better than he found it, Whether an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; Who has always looked for the best in others and given them the best he had; Whose life was an inspiration; Whose memory a benediction.
-Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
-This is what an Indian soldier preaches and teaches!
-Love all, trust a few, Do wrong to none: be able for thine enemy rather in power than use; and keep thy friend under thy own life’s key: be check’d for silence, but never tax’d for speech.”
I don’t trust people who don’t love themselves and tell me, ‘I love you.’ … There is an African saying which is: Be careful when a naked person offers you a shirt. The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.
An Indian soldier in the adverse of situations will say that, The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. I read a book The Art of the Rifle by Jeff Cooper, this one was straight out of that!
-Wonder those across who send men with rifles into Kashmir would have read it!
– ‘Why should I fear death? If I am, then death is not. If Death is, then I am not. Why should I fear that which can only exist when I do not? Long time men lay oppressed with slavish fear. Religious tyranny did domineer. At length the mighty one of the Indian Army began to assent the liberty of man!
Today we Kashmiris fear none! Thity five years back it was not so the story but now things have changed for good and they will keep changing for good because we have the Chinar Corps on our side!
In conclusion we will only say a few words that a child was humming: ‘Pad Gaye Jaise In Aankho Pe, Zulm Ke Nafrat Ke Parde, Zindagi Tera Mujrim Hoon Main, Ho Sake Toh Maaf Kar De, Andhi Rah Ke Andhe Safar Mein, Beet Gaya Jeene Ka Zamana….. Hum Kitne Nadan Thhey Yaro’!
