The People’s Alliance for Change (PAC) held a high-level meeting today, bringing together key leaders from its three constituent parties — Peoples Conference (PC), Justice and Development Front (JDF) and Peoples Democratic Front (PDF).
The meeting saw detailed deliberations on streamlining the alliance’s internal structure, expanding grassroots outreach and laying the foundation for a shared political vision.
In a unanimous decision, it was resolved that a Executive council , will be constituted. The leadership also agreed to form a General council.
A key highlight of the meeting was the decision to draft a joint manifesto that would reflect the collective values, commitments and future goals of the alliance. The responsibility of preparing this unified document has been entrusted to the Executive Council.
The meeting concluded with a renewed pledge by all parties to work in close coordination, maintain discipline, and uphold unity in pursuit of political, democratic, and social transformation across Jammu and Kashmir.
Among those present in the meeting from the Peoples Conference were President Sajad Gani Lone, Vice President Abdul Gani Vakil, Chief Spokesperson Advocate Bashir Ahmad Dar, Chief Organiser Rasheed Mahmoud, Provincial Secretary Irfan Mattu, DDC Chairman Kupwara Irfan Pandithpuri, party leader Sheikh Mohammad Imran and party leader Tasaduq Yaseen.
Representing the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Front were President Shamim Ahmad Thoker, General Secretary Sayar Ahmad Reshi, Chief Coordinator Dr. Talat Majid Alai, Chief Organiser Dr. Kalimullah Lone, Vice President Abdul Rehman Shalla, Core Member Farooq Ahmad Ganai and Media In-charge Ehsan Malik.
From the Peoples Democratic Front, the meeting was attended by President Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen, General Secretary Dr. Nissar Paul, Vice Presidents Showkat Raina and Abdul Rashid, and spokesperson Mushtaq Shamim.
