Dr. Mudasir Akbar Shah, People’s Conference Incharge for Lolab, paid a heartfelt visit to GMC Handwara to personally oversee the treatment of students injured in the tragic road accident involving Government Degree College Sogam. Deeply moved, Dr. Shah expressed profound sorrow over the loss of two young daughters of Lolab and offered his heartfelt condolences to their grieving families.
This is a day of immense grief. We have lost two precious lives, and over 15 students have sustained injuries. It is a collective loss for our entire community,” Dr. Shah stated, visibly shaken. “I pray to Almighty Allah to grant the departed souls the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and bestow patience upon their families during this unbearable time.”
During his visit, Dr. Shah engaged directly with students, parents, the Medical Superintendent and heads of the Neurology, Orthopedics, and Physiotherapy departments to ensure that every injured student receives the best possible care. He also offered prayers for the speedy recovery of all those injured and assured their families of full support.
Dr. Shah emphasized that the People’s Conference stands in solidarity with the affected families and students, and will extend all possible assistance during this critical time.
