Police Arrest Drug User in Awantipora

Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers , Awantipora Police arrested drug consumer from Awantipora area.

During patrolling Police Party of Police Station Awantipora headed by SHO PS Awantipora Dy.SP(P) Atif Zahoor apprehended one drug consumer , The arrested person was found in suspicious circumstances During questioning he admitted that he is regular drug consumer accordingly was shifted to drug de addiction / rehabilitation centre Tral where the test of the person was conducted and the report revails positive.

The arrested drug consumers has been identified as Mehraj Ud Din Ganie S/o Gh Mohd Ganie R/o Lethpora

Accordingly a Case FIR Numbers110 /2025 under relevant section of law stand registered at Police Station Awantipora.
