Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers , Awantipora Police arrested two drug consumers from Awantipora area.
During patrolling Police Party of Police Station Awantipora headed by SHO PS Awantipora Dy.SP(P). Atif Zahoor apprehended 02 drug consumers , The arrested persons were found in suspicious circumstances at Padgampora Crossing.
During questioning they admitted that are regular drug consumers accordingly they were shifted to drug de addiction / rehabilitation centre Tral where the test of the persons was conducted and the report reveals positive.
The arrested drug consumers have been identified as:
1) Faisal Manzoor Reshi S/o Manzoor Ahmad Reshi R/o Herpora Awantipora
2)Mudakir Hussain S/o Mumtaz Ali R/o Lehra Kalimusta Gool Ramban.
Accordingly a Case FIR Numbers 154/2025 under relevant section of law stand registered at Police Station Awantipora.
