Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers , Awantipora Police arrested three drug consumers from Awantipora area.
During patrolling Police Party of Police Station Awantipora headed by SHO PS Awantipora Insp. khalid Fayaz apprehended 03 drug consumers , The arrested persons were found in suspicious circumstances in a Eco Sports vehicle bearing registration number JK01BA-3092.
During questioning they admitted that are regular drug consumers accordingly they were shifted to drug de addiction / rehabilitation centre Tral where the test of all the persons was conducted and the report revails positive.
The arrested drug consumers have been identified as:
Hilal Ahmad Ahanger S/o Ab Satar Ahanger R/O Badipora Budgam , Nasir Ahmad Mir S/o Mohd Ashraf Mir R/O Badipora Budgam, Aftab Ahmad Magray S/o Mushtaq Ahmad Magray R/o Sugam Budgam.
Accordingly a Case FIR Numbers 46/2025 under relevant section of law stand registered at Police Station Awantipora.
