Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers, Awantipora Police arrested two drug consumers from Awantipora area.
During patrolling Police Party of Police Station Awantipora headed by SHO PS Awantipora Dy.SP(P). Atif Zahoor apprehended 02 drug consumers , The arrested persons were found in suspicious circumstances at Dangerpora -Padgampora Crossing.
During questioning they admitted that are regular drug consumers accordingly they were shifted to drug de addiction / rehabilitation centre Tral where the test of the persons was conducted and the report reveals positive.
The arrested drug consumers have been identified as:
1) Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat S/o Ab Gani Bhat R/O Awantipora .
2) Rehan Fayaz Mir S/o Fayaz Ahmad Mir R/o Iqbal Colony Awantipora
Accordingly a Case FIR Numbers 117/2025 under relevant section of law stand registered at Police Station Awantipora.
