Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Awantipora Police seized 01 Boat and arrested 06 persons.

Police party of Police Station Pampore seized one boats being used by below mentioned person for illicit extraction of sand from river Jhelum.

Accordingly, case vide FIR NO. 13/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Pampore and further investigation has been initiated.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding illegal mineral-related activities in their neighbourhood.
