Police conducted searchs at multiple locations across Handwara 

Handwara Police today on 26-04-2025 conducted searches at multiple locations across the Police District Handwara in connection with ongoing investigations into the cases related to the members of proscribed organization “Tehreek-i-Hurriyat (G)”.

The searches were conducted in connection with case FIR No.07/2024 of Police Station Handwara registered under the provisions of unlawful activities prevention act. The organization stands banned in 2023. The searches were carried out on the basis of credible inputs regarding their continued involvement / association with the banned organization.
