Police Seized Mechanized Motor Boat involved in illegal extraction of minerals in Awantipora

Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Awantipora Police seized Mechanized Motor Boat.

Police party of Police Station Awantipora headed by SHO PS Awantipora Dy.SP (P) Shri Aatif Zahoor seized one Mechanized motor boat being used by below mentioned person for illicit extraction of sand from river Jehulm
1) Imran Rashid Dar
S/ o Abdul Rashid Dar
R/o Dogripora
2)Ubaid Ahmad Dar
S/o Maqsood Ahmad Dar
R/o:- Dogripora
Accordingly, case vide FIR NO. 159/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Awantipora and further investigation has been initiated.
