Police received an application on 21-03-2025 from one one shopkeeper namely Sheik Javid Ahmad S/o Gh Mohd R/o Plan Bandipora ward number 2 who is running a mobile phone shop ‘Sheik Electronics’ at Bandipora.
The complainant mentioning therein that during that intervening night of 20/21 March 2025 some thieves have barged the entity of their house and theft near about 17/18 Android Mobile phones valueing approximately 3 lacs from their Car bearing registeration number JK15-5752 parked in the lawn of their residential house.
Subsequently in this regard case FIR NO 47/25 u/s 331(4), 305(B) BNS was registered in police station Bandipora.
A special team of PS Bandipora headed by SHO PS Bandipora under the supervision of DySP headquarters Bandipora was constituted and investigation started.
During investigation with the help of some human as well technical threads police zeroed on two suspects who were questioned and during questioning they confessed the commission of crime and Bandipora Police recovered the said stolen mobile phones from the accused persons.
They have been identified as Junaid Ahamad Bhat S/o Reyaz Ahmad Bhat R/o Ward No.2 Bandipora, Sahil Tariq Malla S/o Tariq ahmad malla R/o Nowpora Bandipora A/P Ajar Bandipora. Further investigation of the case is going on.
