Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday told the Indian Army that they must not just win the nation, but the hearts of the people too. Singh’s statement comes in the wake of recent civilian killings in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The Army does not have to only save the nation from enemies, it also has the responsibility to win the hearts of people,” Singh said, adding, “Ensure such things don’t happen again.”
