The Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Vidhi Kumar Birdi on Tuesday said the preparations for the upcoming 26th January celebrations are in full swing, with multi-tiered security arrangements being put in place to ensure the convenience and safety of participants.
Speaking to reporters here, he said authorities are making every effort to facilitate the smooth movement of people attending the parade and associated events, allowing them to enjoy the celebrations without any inconvenience.
Birdi, stated that security measures are being enhanced to provide a secure environment for the Republic Day celebrations. He assured that arrangements have been meticulously planned to manage the expected crowd and ensure a peaceful event. (KNS)
