In a dedicated effort to combat the growing challenge of drug abuse among youth, the Qaziabad Welfare Forum Kralgund organized a Drug Awareness Program at Rehmania Public School, Ganapora Langate. The event aimed to educate students and the local community about the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of early prevention.
The program saw the participation of over 100 students, teachers, and local residents. Many students took the opportunity to speak openly, sharing their thoughts and concerns about drug-related issues, which added a deeply personal and impactful element to the event.
On this occasion, Mohd Yousuf Bhat, Chairman of Qaziabad Welfare Forum, addressed the gathering and emphasized the critical role of parents, teachers, and community organizations in safeguarding youth from the menace of drugs. He urged everyone to remain vigilant and to provide moral and emotional support to children.
The Principal of Rehmania Public School also spoke during the event, appreciating the initiative and highlighting the school’s commitment to holistic education that includes moral and social awareness.
The program concluded with a pledge by all participants to promote a drug-free environment in their homes, schools, and neighborhoods.
