The Tebyan Quranic Research Institute at Saida Kadal, Hassanabad, Srinagar, has inaugurated a grand Quran and Islamic Calligraphy Art Exhibition showcasing the rich heritage of Islamic calligraphy and the artistic expressions of Kashmiri artists. The exhibition, which runs from March 24th to March 30th, has drawn significant attention from scholars, artists, and admirers of Quranic art.
The event was organised by Hujjat-ul-Islam Wal Muslimeen Jenab Aga Syed Abid Hussain , Chairman of the Institute, who highlighted the importance of Quranic calligraphy in preserving the spiritual and artistic essence of Islamic culture. Prominent social worker of kashmir Syed Aijaz Kashani, along with renowned educationist Salim Mir and social worker Amjid Rizvi, visited the exhibition. Syed Aijaz Kashani while speaking on the occasion, emphasizing the need to promote and preserve the unique artistic talent of Kashmiri calligrapher. He said the exhibition features exquisite works by many talented Kashmiri artists, showcasing their skills in traditional and modern styles of Islamic calligraphy. Their contributions have been widely appreciated by attendees, including various leading personalities from different walks of life who have visited the exhibition and lauded the efforts of the Tebyan Quranic Research Institute in organizing this cultural and religious event.

Renowned Educationist and Founder of Commerce Guru academy Mr, Salim Mir said the ongoing exhibition stands as a testament to Kashmir’s deep-rooted artistic heritage and the region’s commitment to preserving and celebrating Islamic calligraphy. Aga Syed Abid Hussain , Chairman of the Institute, said the event remains open to the public until March 30, 2025, inviting art enthusiasts, students, and scholars to witness and appreciate the divine beauty of Quranic inscriptions.
