Government has directed the early transfer of IPS officer Rakesh Balwal back to the Manipur cadre.
In accordance with an official order from the Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, IPS officer Balwal, who belongs to the MA-2012 batch, is being transferred from the AGMUT cadre to the Manipur cadre.
This decision was made based on a recommendation from the Ministry of Home Affairs and received approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, nearly a month after the MHA’s proposal.
Rakesh Balwal, who is currently serving as the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Srinagar, will now be reassigned to a position in Manipur.
