Peoples Conference President and MLA Handwara Sajad Gani Lone extended his heartfelt greetings and warm felicitations to the people of Kashmir and the entire Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
In his message, Lone reflected on the deep spiritual significance of Eid-ul-Azha, a sacred commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) supreme act of devotion and submission to the will of Allah. He described the festival as a powerful reminder of the enduring values of faith, sacrifice and obedience.
“Eid-ul-Azha is not just a celebration,” he said, “but a profound spiritual journey that inspires us to embody the principles of selflessness, compassion, and brotherhood.”
Calling for collective reflection and empathy, Lone urged people to remember those facing hardship and to extend generosity and support to uplift the marginalized.
“As we mark this holy occasion, let us open our hearts to the less fortunate and work together to build a more compassionate and equitable society,” he remarked.
Addressing the people of the Valley in particular, Lone expressed hope that Eid would bring tranquility and prosperity to every home.
“May this blessed festival deepen the bonds of unity among all communities and pave the way for an era of harmony and progress in our beloved region,” he concluded.
