The education minister Sakina Itoo on Monday said that all the educational institutions across Kashmir will reopen after Summer vacations on Tuesday.

In an exclusive conversation with Greater Kashmir, Sakina Itoo said the schools falling under municipal areas of all districts, from primary to class 12th will function from 7:30am to 11:30am.

She further said that the schools in other rural areas will function from 8am to 12noon respectively.

“But the students after reaching home will take one hour break and attend online classes for two hours,” the education minister told Greater Kashmir.

She further clarified that no extension has been granted in summer vacation.

“The schools will reopen on Tuesday (July 8),” she said.
