Srinagar :- At least eight residential houses got damaged in a fire incident in Khanbal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official told news agency that fire broke out in boat colony Khanbal which engulfed several houses.
He said that fire was brought under control, however, not before it caused partial damage to several residential houses.
These houses belong to Ab Gani Wani S/O Gh.Mohd, M Ashraf Pushu S/O Gh.Qadir, Sajad Wani S/O Ab. Gani, Mushtaq Handroo S/O Ab.Aziz, Nisar Ahmad Gadda S/O Ab Rehman, Baby Jan W/O Mohd Ismail, Mukhtar Ahmad Guru S/O Gh Mohd and Javaid Ahmad Shaksaaz S/O Ab Gaffar, all residents of Boat Colony Khanabal.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation in this regard.(KS)
