New Delhi, June 27: Jail Authorities of Delhi Prisons on Friday refuted the news about Shabir Shah being critical.

In a statement, PRO Delhi prisons said, “Some rumours are reportedly being circulated in the Social Media regarding the critical health condition of inmate Mr. Shabir Ahmad Shah S/o Mr. Gulam Ahmad Shah.

In this regard it is stated that the above said inmate has been regularly provided with all medical attention and his condition is stable. He was referred to Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi on 26/06/2025 for OPD consultation with respect to complaints of some lower urinary tract symptoms and he was admitted for further tests/ evaluation, he said.

All his reports have been found to be normal and appropriate medical treatment is being provided to him at Safdarjung Hospital.
