Kabra stressed the importance of seamless coordination among departments to provide essential facilities, including sanitation, drinking water, healthcare, and security, for the smooth conduct of the pilgrimage. He directed officials to expedite pending works and maintain high standards of cleanliness and infrastructure readiness.

In addition to reviewing SANJY 2025 preparations, the ACS inspected several ongoing water supply schemes under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the Anantnag district. Key projects reviewed included: Water Supply Scheme Siligam Tantary Pora and Water Supply Scheme Anantnag (Rural Part).

Kabra directed the Executive Engineer of PHE Division Bijbehara to ensure the timely completion of these schemes so that clean drinking water can be provided to beneficiaries at the earliest. He stressed the need for efficient execution and quality control to meet the objectives of the Jal Jeevan Mission, which aims to provide Har Ghar Jal (water to every household).

The ACS was accompanied by senior officials from the Jal Shakti Department, PHE, and district administration during the inspection. He expressed satisfaction with the progress of works and urged officials to maintain momentum for timely completion. (KDC)
